Otaku Time // Anime Spring 2018 (❁´ω`❁) & Giveaway Survey

It's officially autumn here in Sydney which means it'll be Spring in Japan! Spring in Japan is one of the most breathtaking seasons to see the sakura flowers in full bloom and I personally would love to visit there soon to experience it for myself.

Moving onto the main topic of today, yes, it's time to share my anime line up for this season which I'm super looking forward to! I got pretty excited with the first few anime series which I'm about to share because I've been waiting for this moment!

Steins;Gate 0 - YES YES YES! After my partner introduced this anime to me a couple years ago I've been wanting more! Both my partner and I got pretty excited when the Zero series would be released this year. Zero is a side story that explores events from the Beta Attractor Field's future that contribute in making the end of the original story possible. This will definitely be on the top of my weekend to-watch list!

Boku no Hero Academia 3rd Season - I only started watching this a week ago and I'm almost at the end of season 2, so the release of season 3 is literally perfect timing for me! I love how light and funny this series is but at the same time teaches you the value of becoming a true hero which you can apply in the real world! P.S. Sometimes you can learn a lot from anime!

Tokyo Ghoul:re - This series will take place after Kaneki's time and give a little more depth behind the history of the Quinx squad, Ghouls and more! We will be following Haise Sasaki who is a half-ghoul half-human, trained by famed special class investigator, Kishou Arima. However, there's more to this young man than meets the eye, as unknown memories claw at his mind, slowly reminding him of the person he used to be. I cannot wait for this series to air!

Shokugeki no Souma: San no Sara - Toutsuki Ressha-hen - Finally! I've been waiting for next season so I can anticipate the visuals of the dishes that will be shown in their 3rd season! Who else is getting ready to see amazing, crazy and beautifully delicious-looking anime dishes?!

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online - Another SAO story is coming out soon! I really liked SAO when it first came out so it will be interesting to see where this one leads! We follow the protagonist Karen Kohiruimaki, who feels out of place in the real world until she is introduced to VR and Gun Gale Online. In GGO, Karen is free to play the cute, chibi avatar of her dreams and find friends too!

Below are a few new series that sound interesting which I may watch if I have the time. My weekends are pretty much all set with the ones mentioned earlier.

Mahou Shoujo Ore - This story is about a 15-year-old girl who is a newbie idol in love with her best friend's brother who is also a popular idol. But she runs into a scary yakuza guy and finds out that her mother was an ex-magical girl, and the yakuza guy was her mascot. Her love interest gets kidnapped by demons that look like burly men with cute squirrel heads. So she contracts the yakuza to become a magical girl, which in this story means she turns into a handsome guy in a magical girl outfit. On top of that, her love interest shows an attraction toward her magical guy form. Her best friend turns out to be in love with her and also becomes a magical cross-dressing guy to save her life. Thus, their manager, who is a magical girl geek, then decides to turn them into an idol unit.

Mahou Shoujo Site - Asagiri Aya is a young girl who has fallen victim to bullies at her school. Looking for a way to escape her troubles, she looks to the internet for distraction, when a mysterious website called "Magical Girl Site" appears. Simply viewing the page is all it takes to hurtle Aya headlong into the deadly world of the Magical Girl Apocalypse. There, it’s fight or die, against a seemingly endless array of savagely adorable, frilly-skirted killing machines, each armed with magical powers and an unquenchable thirst for blood and chaos.
Caligula - Mobius is a perfect digital world for the imagined benefit of humanity by μ, a virtual idol program that attained sentience and self-awareness. Only humans who are suffering in the real world and strongly relate to μ's songs are lured into Mobius.
Once they enter, people often forget that the real world exists. Regardless of age or gender, they are turned into students and forced to experience school life over and over, which μ considers "the most radiant time in a person's life."

3D Kanojo: Real Girl - Tsutsui Hikari is an otaku, and he mostly avoids social life. Hikari has only one friend at school, who is also a social misfit, and he is mocked brutally by most of his classmates for being creepy and weird. One day, he ends up having to clean the school pool with Igarashi Iroha, who appears to be pretty much everything he hates in real-life girls. She skips school, has a blunt manner, doesn't have female friends, and seems the sort to be promiscuous. However, she is friendly to Hikari, and even stands up to the people who make fun of him. Hikari's bitterness and trust issues lead him to say pretty harsh things to Iroha, but she never dismisses him as creepy. After a while, it starts to look like Iroha may become his first real-life, 3D girlfriend! Will he be able to handle it?

It's giveaway time....SOON! Before I confirm the prizes I'd like you to tell me what you'd like to win instead, which is why I have created a survey below for you to fill out.
